Taking e-invoicing global

Tungsten Network Henkel Customer Case Study

Henkel is a leading chemical and consumer goods company who were looking to increase levels of back office automation to deliver increased efficiency while meeting international tax compliance standards.

Henkel was manually processing 1.25 million paper invoices annually. Tungsten Network successfully onboarded suppliers that represented 72% of the invoice volume initially in scope. This proved to be a stepping stone, as Henkel looks to roll out e-invoicing on a global scale in order to increase automation levels, reduce workloads and drive down cost.

“We recognised that electronic invoicing could be a complementary way of increasing levels of automation. Many of our suppliers were already on the Tungsten Network platform, which helped us validate the technical solution.” – Jens Fischer, Global Process Manager – Purchase to Pay, Henkel
